Al Aseel Boerboels is proud to announce a carefully planned breeding between Ataraxia Nova II and Ataraxia Kahlaas (RIP) — a pairing built not around trends, but around proven foundation genetics, historical producers, and the preservation of true Boerboel essence.
A young brindle female carrying some of the most respected old and modern blood combined into one pedigree. Nova II is the daughter of Ataraxia Tonraq, a son of the renowned Bulters Timebadit, and she is heavily line bred on the influential producers Groenberg Rambo, Ataraxia Tinker, and ultimately Dandaloo Mack.
Nova II presents with:
Through her pedigree we also see the influence of Mouzer Pied Ben, descending from the legendary Mouzer Adolf, bringing additional depth of working mentality, strength and authentic Boerboel character.
Kahlaas was a deeply influential and proven producer, respected for consistently stamping his offspring with power, type, stability and substance.
He was a 3:13 line bred Boerboel on Ysterberg Sokket, the famous son of Ysterberg Vegter III. Kahlaas himself produced Bulters Timebadit, who became a distinguished producer in his own right and carried a strong line breeding on Dandaloo Mack — regarded by many as one of the greatest sons ever produced from Ysterberg Sokket blood.
Kahlaas represented the old blood breeding philosophy focused on preserving reliability, functionality and predictability.
This breeding is far more than simply mating two dogs together — it is the deliberate intertwining of proven foundation bloodlines.
Nova II is the granddaughter of Bulters Timebadit. We are now breeding her back to Timebadit’s sire — Ataraxia Kahlaas. In essence, we are breeding Nova II back onto her great grandfather to reinforce and solidify the genetic traits that made these dogs influential in the first place.
This creates a concentrated foundation breeding built around:
These are not accidental names in a pedigree — they are cornerstone producers that helped shape authentic Boerboel type.
A 3:13 line breeding is a structured form of close relative breeding where a particular ancestor appears in the 3rd and 13th positions of a pedigree.
Among experienced breeders, this is regarded as one of the strongest and most reliable forms of line breeding because it allows breeders to:
When done responsibly with proven dogs, it becomes a powerful tool for preserving exceptional genetics over generations.
This is especially relevant in this litter because both Kahlaas and his descendants proved themselves as viable producers. Rather than introducing unrelated modern blood simply for outcrossing, this breeding aims to preserve and intensify the traits these bloodlines became respected for.
This planned litter is designed to preserve the old-world Boerboel qualities our predecessors valued most:
The old blood brings authenticity and consistency, while the influence of producers such as Groenberg Rambo and Dandaloo Mack contributes strength, dominance and modern relevance.
This is a breeding intended to “bring the past into the future” — combining proven historical genetics with selective modern refinement to create the next generation of foundation-bred Boerboels.
If all goes ahead as planned, this will be a truly special litter for enthusiasts who appreciate authentic pedigree construction and purposeful breeding philosophy.
